What got you into gamerscore?
by Admin on Wed Feb 27, 2008 3:56 amI know my firs game was PGR 3 and I noticed I got something in the below of my screen saying achievement unlocked I than was so suprised of it may mean I was so silly back than lol. After a while I figured out what achievements were and got kind of addicted to them which I still am, achievements have become a measure of your gaming skills and I think it was an awesome idea of microsoft. being able ot achieve something and showing it to the rest of the world pretty much got me into gamerscore
A friend of my suggested upgrading from a PS2 to an xbox 360 - i was not a big fan of the first xbox but after playing for a bit in his house i wanted one so bad.
So got some cash together and picked one up - registered my gamertag - then added my friend to my friends list - i noticed he had a score of 4000 or something to that effect - decided i wanted to beat him - passed him out after two months but by then i had more friends on my friends list with higher scores that i wanted to beat and that was that - hooked!

After 2000 Gamerscore I just really lieked it and couldn't stop!
