On this website you can also add certain people to your friendslist,
making it obvious what people you know and what people you don't know.
than when you send a private message you can select the group friends,
so that all your friends can have the same PM at the same time, quite handy isn't it?

EDIT: btw when you go to profile and than go to friends and foe you can see the list of your friends and foes
